‘A bit like the next generation’: How ‘pizza’ changed from humble dish to national obsession

The Australian Food and Wine Council says it will be pushing for a national pizza convention to take place in 2018 and to give Australia’s pizza lovers more access to the world’s best.

In a submission to the council, Australian Pizza Week has described the event as a great opportunity to bring people together and help grow the industry.

The submission says the event will bring together some of the country’s leading pizza makers, foodies and chefs to share the fruits of their labour.

It says this year’s convention will be held in Sydney, with the first two days being dedicated to foodie events such as pizza parties and food drives.

This means that in 2019, pizza makers will have a chance to organise a convention in the state that is part of the NSW, Queensland and ACT states.

There will be a special dinner for pizza makers in the NSW capital, with special guests including pizza chefs and other pizza-makers.

The NSW National Pizza Week will begin on March 5 and end on March 14.

The council hopes to have pizza-making conventions taking place in NSW, Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania from 2019.
